There are many ways to celebrate the earth.   My favorite way to do that every day is by recreating discarded items into recycled art.    In addition Jersey Made and I recycle paper, cardboard, bottle, and cans.    I reuse as much as possible and sometimes that means passing along slightly used items.    It means going green and encouraging the earth to help us grown vegetables and fruits.    My neighbors and I gather items that can be composted and the “black dirt” created from that helps our gardens to grow healthier.

Go green

Celebrate our Earth

Enjoy!!

Thanks for thinking local – it really does save natural resources!!

07 Apr 2012 Time for Mead!

Jersey Made sells honey!

Hammernought Armory sells kits to make mead!

Together Jersey Made and Hammernought have been offering the main ingredients to create mead.  It seemed only right that I should give it a try too.   So a friend and I mixed up a batch.   9 days later we had turned a jug of water, 2 jars of blueberry honey, and a blueberry mead kit into a delicious adult beverage!!!

Jersey Made now has 4 different varieties of honey – blueberry, lavender as well as wildflower from 2 different areas.   Of course it is all made by the busy bees of New Jersey!!
