Have a wicked time…

Moan-A

Today was the day!!    After 11 months of living in storage Moan-A was set up in the Mill Race Village to prepare for the upcoming Witches Ball.

Saturday, October 8, 2011     6 to 11pm

Tom Greenfield is Moan-A’s creator and was right there today to give her a few touch-ups (like any witch would need with all those months of storage).

Jim Lemyre put up the backdrop on the side of Silver Lining.

Many of these jobs require a ground crew.   Mercedes, owner of Doodles Studio, stopped by to help out!

Moan-A requires many more on the ladders and on the ground!!!   She is really something incredible and stands 15 feet high!

Just so you can get some perspective….here is one of the hands for Moan-A along with her broomstick (of course she has larger than life broomstick)!!!

There she is to welcome all into the Witches Ball!!

Hope you have your calendars marked.   This is an ADULT Halloween event and it is not recommended for kids at all.     It is quite wickedly spectacular!!   bruhahahahaha

Are you dressing up for the costume contest??    Stop by Jersey Made to show us!!!

Fascinating!!

Sometimes when you prepare for events you just don’t know what projects you will get involved in doing!    So it is with “The Fascinators”.     This week it is the project at hand.    Very clever actually and quite stylish!    They will be available for sale at the Brew-Ha-Ha being held next Thursday.   The festivities begin at 6pm at the Crow Bar outside The Robin’s Nest Restaurant.    Guaranteed to be an evening of wickedness, fashion, food, adult beverages and great people!!   $5 admission and it is suggested that you get your tickets in advance (only 100 available).    This is a benefit that helps us to raise funds to put on The Witches Ball in the Mill Race Village to be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 6pm to 11pm.

I made this one!!    Of course I have this whole owl thing going on lately so it seemed to be perfect for me to make.

It was fun to try them on and this giant spider is positively spooky!!

Thanks for reading!   Your comments are always appreciated.    So to help that along I have a free Brew-Ha-Ha ticket to the first 2 that comment on this post.   NO you cannot comment on Facebook and think you will get the prize!!!

Thanks – help us bring the hugest event in the area, The Witches Ball, to the Mill Race Village.    There will be other prices and auction items including a Jersey Made gift certificate and D.O.A. Bouquet!!!   Both the Brew-Ha-Ha and The Witches Ball are something spectacular and not to be missed!!!
