Fire & Ice 2013 – Photos!

Jersey Made was almost on the front page of the Burlington County Times.    The photographer was definitely on the WRONG side of the street.    LoL

But still it was exciting to see the giraffe on the cover.   Congrats to Todd!!

Todd Dedmon of Newark, DE won 1st place in the Amateur Category for his giraffe.   We were excited to have front row seats to watch the 300 pound block of ice transformed into a 3 dimensional animal.    Lots of details in his work!!

Boris the camel was an excitement to everyone.   He even made some friends with the alpacas from Scotia Farms!

A fundraiser for Willing Hearts Dalmatian Rescue who joined Mount Holly for the event!!

Plus our fundraiser for families still recovering from Hurricane Sandy.   There are a few bags left but we hope to raise $100 to give them in home improvement center gift cards!!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Fire & Ice Festival 2013!

Chili Decor!!

Things are really heating up around Jersey Made and we are getting ready for the Fire and Ice Festival 2013!!

Starshine Crafts have some wonderful aprons available!

Plus she has matching hand towels too!

Some are available in hanging towels (not pictured).

If you don’t want chili then how about this cute chef apron?

Hope you can come to Mount Holly on Saturday, 1/26/13 for the Fire and Ice Festival and see all the awesome ice carvings.    This year the Mill Race Village will be featuring 9 shops (including Jersey Made) that will have a Chili Crawl happening after the competition!!

Stop in Jersey Made and say hello and see all that is new!!!

A letter day!

The kids had so much fun painting their letters on Saturday, January 14, 2012!

Nicky did her letter with “reddish pink” background and we painted hearts and flowers using a clever technique to transfer the basic designs.

This was Ryan’s first class and he sure had a great time.    His letter featured hopping frogs and tiger striped (thanks to Kaylee for doing some research on that for him).

Rebecca painted frogs onto a purple background and they came out so great that I did the same design on my own letter!!

Kaylee tried something a little different and hers is covered with words done in white.   The photo does not show it too well but it came out great!!

There will not be a Kids Art on January 28th since the street will be closed for the Fire & Ice Festival.   Hope you all plan to come by for this great event!!!
