FRIDAYS – Open until 8pm!!!   Starting Friday, November 28th and continues until Friday, December 19th.    Barb Johns, the Mount Holly Spinster, will be joining us each week from 6-8pm

TUESDAYS  11-4pm  (added just for the holidays)

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY  11-6pm

FESTIVE EVENTS 

Friday, December 5 – Fiber Festival featuring Barb John, the Mount Holly Spinster.   She will be demonstrating her spinning and have some of the yarns she has created for us.    Bonnie, known at Jersey Made as BFF (Bonnie’s Felted Friends) will show us how she creates the wonderful felted creatures she has available at the shop.    Holly will also show how she learned from some creative friends how to felt using cookie cutters.   The 5th Anniversary ornament will be using this technique.   5pm to 8pm

Saturday, December 6 – Dream Trader Jewelry  Join us for a trunk show with Anthony Niglio and the awesome jewelry that he creates, including the new copper bracelets.   10am to 4pm

Sunday, December 7 – Jersey Made’s 5th Anniversary Celebration Cake and beverages and the traditional ornament to celebrate this monumental occasion.   noon to 4pm

Saturday, December 13thBattle of Iron Works Hill – encampments in Mount Holly as this historic battle is re-enacted.   Our military discount will be extended to the Hessian and Colonial soldiers.   Make a small craft in our classroom (donation for our local animal shelter is requested but not required)

Sunday – December 14th   TRUNK SHOW by Green Cow Handcrafted Soaps.   Meet Nina and see their full line of soap products and accessories.   noon to 4pm

Friday 12/19/14 to Sunday 12/21/14 Procrastinator’s Weekend Including gift wrapping and specials for that last minute shopper.    Let us help make your holiday festive and keep you out of the dog house!

New items are always arriving at Jersey Made!   “Peace” Christmas Cards by Holly Doyle are on sale in packages of 12 for $10.   Even if you don’t mail them they are perfect to go along with your gift, include a gift card or to thank those special people in your world this holiday.

Small Business Saturday 2014

Make sure to get your American Express card registered when shopping during Small Business Saturday on November 29, 2014.     Each time you spend $10 at a registered Shop Small location American Express will give you a $10 statement credit for each qualifying transaction up to $30.

Newsworthy Updates!

Happy Autumn!

Jersey Made is having more classes and events and we hope that you can join us.    Here are just a few updates….

We are now a drop off location for Operation Yellow Ribbon.   Their website www.operationyellowribbonsouthjersey.org has a list of items that are most requested by the troops.    Jersey Made will be focusing on the Leftover Halloween Candy program in the month of November.   Bring in your excess or buy a few extra bags to help out.

The plaque has arrived for our Best Gift Shop in Burlington County and it is proudly displayed.   Thanks to all who included us in your voting – it means a whole bunch to all of the artists here!!!

November 2nd  Artistic Praying   1-3 pm.  A mini-workshop discussing ways we can use creativity while praying (all faiths are welcome). We will be making Gratitude Journals.

November 4th Jersey Made is closed but we still hope you vote!

November 8th Kids Recreate is for ages 4-14 with a focus on using recycled materials to create art.     Ages 4-8 are noon to 1:30 and ages 9-14 are 2-3:30pm. Parents are welcome to shop, stroll or enjoy the porch during class.

November 5,12,19,26 Altered Book Class Every Wednesday 11-1pm.   As the holidays approach we will be using book pages to create greeting cards, ornaments and ideas that can be used for gift giving.

November 16th – Tarot with Kali – Get a reading.   12-3:30pm.   Choose from 15 minutes to an hour.   Also check out her Mojo Bags!

November 20th – Pinning OUR Way – the latest Pinterest ideas tested out  and adjusted (cause we are experts at this).    1-4pm

November 28th – OPEN UNTIL 8PM!   Kicking off our Festival of Fridays here in Mill Race Village.    We will be open until 8pm with LOTS of specials each Friday until Christmas!!!

November 29th – SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY Amex is leading the way to think local this holiday season and we are excited to be participating.   Register your Amex card but this event is open to everyone.   We will be having refreshments (if you know me well this means cookies and/or chocolate – hehe)

December 11th – Angels 101 with Karen Bianco 7pm 

Our military and their family get a 10% off discount on all purchases and 20% off for classes & workshops.    Sorry this does not include the Tarot, Angel or Mediumship events.

Holiday Hours

I know we are not even at Halloween, yet a plan has to start somewhere.  Starting the Friday after Thanksgiving Jersey Made will be open until 8pm along with many of the other shops in Mill Race Village!!   Open on Tuesdays from 11am to 4pm too!   Small Business Saturday is happening again – get your American Express card ready or just come enjoy the specials we will have that day.
